Reunion in Scotland

This weekend I practically crossed the country by train; I spent a weekend in Scotland to reunite with five of my closest friends from high school.
I had the best time, it felt just like the old times, we all cooked dinner together, hung out on the beach, made cake, had brunch at a farm, strolled in a cemetery at night, and probably ingested 16,000 calories each. We like to believe fat during a weekend with friends doesn't count.
St. Andrews was super tiny but really quite charming, and it was surprisingly much sunnier and warmer than down south.

The second set of photos is from a day out in London I went on by myself last weekend (I visited the National Gallery, Buckingham Palace and checked out a few Fashion Week events) + the Promenade magazine launch in Brighton, for which I am the street style editor (check out the magazine here).

Breakfast at King's Cross

Super busy these weeks! Though I just got back, I'm flying to Rome at 4 am on Saturday. So excited to be home! Been really homesick lately (mostly for food).
Expect updates,

November+December

My autumn was swell; I visited Cambridge, my mum came to visit me and we toured in London and always had breakfast in bed, and term didn't even feel too long. But when the time came to go home to Italy, I was ecstatic and in serious need of food. I spent a wonderfully lazy December between Rome and Calabria taking walks with my dog on the beach, in the beautifully xmasy-lit center of Rome and eating far, far too much panettone.

Here's some pics from Rome + my weekend in Cambridge to visit a friend. It totally felt like Hogwarts.

Happy 2013 to you all - New York up next!

My weekend back home in Italy was slow, warm, and completely revitalising. Here's a few snaps I took with my dad's old camera.

A week ago I was supposed to visit my stepsister in Germany but my flight got cancelled. Still made the most out of the trip to Heathrow and had a stroll through Harrod's, South Kensington and the London Eye instead.

Almost forgot! I have the most exciting news.... I'M MOVING TO PARIS NEXT SEPTEMBER!!!
Words can't describe, the excitement is unbelievable.

My housemate and I on Halloween
Busy week ahead, I'm taking photos at the Brighton Vintage Fair tomorrow, have a fashion show on wednesday and going to Cambridge for the weekend.

Hope you're all having sweet autumns and had a frightening Halloween,

See ya later, B-town!

My first year of university is officially over and summer 2012 has finally begun.

In the past 72 hours I have:

  • Finished my last exam
  • Packed my room at our uni halls
  • Held a surprise party and had an amazing last night out
  • Slept two and a half hours before having to wake up (slightly hungover) at an unearthly hour to move all our stuff to a storage
  • Walked for hours
  • Spent my first night at a hotel on my own
  • Raided the sale at American Apparel
  • Flew back to Rome and went straight to a dinner party
and on this super-hot Sunday morning in Rome I am beyond exhausted.
Moving out of university halls was more emotional than I thought it would be. No more "Down it, FRESHEER!" or going to the flat next door when showers weren't working.
This first year at uni flew by, it seems like yesterday I was left by myself in the streets of Brighton to begin this adventure.

Anyway, three months of fabulous summer lay ahead, I have just booked my flights to Vienna in july and going to southern Italy in a few days.

SUMMER 2012, HERE WE GO!

Meet my future housemates!
Goodbye humble abode

Again, I took a lot of photos with my film and fisheye camera but we will have to wait for those. They'll come soon!
What are your summer plans?
