Vacanze romane

Summer is here and I couldn't be happier. I finally developed my analog photos and I am so happy with them.

It's almost 40 degrees in Rome, but I am lahvin it. I've spent the past couple of weeks living what I like to call la dolce vita in Rome. I've watched the Italy vs Germany game at the German ambassador's house with the entire German embassy, the mayor of Rome and a bunch of news channels were there as well. First of all, winning in the enemy's house was glorious, muahahah! Secondly, it was one of the most beautiful and glamorous houses I have ever seen. And after the game, Rome went absolutely wild and we drove around in our convertible Fiat 500 waving a huge Italian flag and dancing and celebrating with complete strangers on the street. Viva l'Italia!

Other than that I have met a cousin of mine from Argentina that I had never seen before and showed him around, been called crazy for roaming around the city in the killer heat taking photos to finish my analog camera, drove to Abbruzzo (eastern Italy) for a day and ate lots of incredible ice cream and, of course, my beloved cacio e pepe.

Now I'm enjoying the beach in southern Italy but going back to Rome next week as a friend from Vienna and one from Madrid are coming to visit me and we're vacationing around Italy! And then I'm off to Vienna. Super stoked!

Off to catch some rays again! Hope you're all having a kickass summer,
